Records fall at EOMAC Semi-Serious Meet

EOMAC swimmers broke 5 records in the November 14 Semi-Serious meet in the Olympium pool! The Bertelink family lead the way with 4 of the 5, Cindy broke the Canadian record for women aged 35-39, 50 Breaststroke with a time of 35.42 seconds. Cindy also set club records in 50 Free and 100 Back.
Tineke Bertelink’s relay lead-off 50 Free swim in 42.48 seconds is a club record for women 65-69.
Lastly, President Chris Nagy broke the 29 year-old club record for men 35-39, 50 Free in 25.30 seconds.
In total there were 202 swimmers competing in the meet, including 52 from EOMAC. It was a very successful meet with the usual fun events (Semi-Serious) sandwiched in the middle, and culminating with a great buffet, and followed by a meeting of the Masters Swimming Ontario Board of Directors.
